Every month, we present a spiritual bouquet to Our Lady – that is to say a Crown of Roses. This possibility is open to anyone who desires – not only those who attend weekly meetings of the Golden Rose apostolate.
So how does it work?
The inputs that are posted or linked on this site are each designed to be ‘seeds’, which you can sow in order to grow a rose for Our Lady. In addition, one can count certain regular devotions, sacrifices and commitments to other movements as perennial roses. Click the link to learn how to count these for the purpose of a monthly offering. Over the month we tally everything up into a bouquet, with which to make a crown of roses for Mary.
This tallied number is entirely personal, and so the submission will be anonymous. It works as follows:
Every month, on the first Saturday, a submission form will be provided here on the website (on the same page, you can find a printable page that may help you keep track of your roses over the course of the month). This form will have space for two details:
- A Marian title, under which you would like to make your presentation for the month
- The number of roses that you have cultivated and can present to Her for the month
This form will remain on the page until midday on the 13th of that same month, at which point it will be removed and the roses will be tallied. The spiritual bouquet, in the form of a Crown of Roses, will then be presented to the Mother of God (under all the chosen titles) on this page.
For this reason, if making the effort to ‘grow’ the roses is a chance to show our love to Mary, presenting the bouquet online is a way to bear witness to this love to the world, whilst remaining personally hidden under Her Mantle.
“Jesus wishes to make use of you to make me known and loved. He wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and these souls will be loved by God, like flowers placed by me to adorn His throne.“
